ZDJ: SCHALOM ALEIKUM

 
The question: How do you start an intercultural dialogue between two hostile religions? Our core creative idea: For the first time, not officials and theologians are talking about Judaism and Islam, but ordinary people from both religions.

The name of the dialogue platform is an expression of how similar the semitic cultures of Judaism and Islam are. "Schalom Aleikum" is a combination of the Jewish greeting "Schalom" and the Muslim equivalent "Salam Aleikum“. Its aim is to reduce anti-semitism and prejudice and to promote common ground and respect.
